One of the campaigns that we are working on with Wendover Parish Council is to transition to a 20mph speed limit through much of Wendover – especially on roads where there are schools or nurseries and where pedestrian traffic is high. We believe the principal environmental benefit will come from encouraging more walking and cycling around Wendover – leaving the car at home for short journeys. We think there is a particular opportunity in the area of the Wharf Rd/Manor Rd schools campus.
